Hired American Railworks to install rails for a deck extension we did. My customer wanted a gate added for her pup. Contact was easy. Sent information on what I needed over an email as was given a quote that day. After paying the deposit their project manager came out and measured, their installers were out 5 weeks later and did the install. As you can see form the photos it came out beautifully. These folks were a gem to work with beginning to end and I will definitely hire them for the next deck we build that requires aluminum rails.

We recently had American Railworks install a beautiful black and stainless steel railing around our new deck, and we could not be happier with the result.
This was our second time working with American Railworks. We previously had them install railings on a separate concrete patio, and when we built our new deck, we wanted the railings to match. As with the first time we hired ARW, every step of the way, ARW was incredible to work with.
During the permitting process, our decking contractor had a number of questions, and ARW was responsive and helpful throughout, providing drawings and design input whenever it was needed. Once the deck was complete, they were prompt in coming out to take precise measurements, then sent us final renderings for approval. ARW completed fabrication ahead of schedule (pretty rare these days) and installed our large railing project in just two days.
The finished product looks absolutely incredible. The craftsmanship is top notch and the railing is extremely sturdy. Our deck previously had no railing at all (during the project the deck was redesigned to exceed the height restrictions that require one), and I was hesitant that a railing might block our view of the yard or feel like a hindrance from inside the house. If anything, the opposite is true: the railing is so beautiful that it adds a really nice architectural element to our view and gives the whole project a finished look.
Better yet, ARW was very reasonably priced for custom-fabricated, high-end railings. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for quality railing work.

We had the pleasure of working with American Railworks (ARW) on our One Lincoln project after significant ice damage occurred to the existing aluminum railings (installed by another contractor with no weep holes). Multiple railing contractors in Seattle turned down the job, leaving one Unit with unsafe railings 41 stories above Bellevue Way NE.
ARW stepped in and worked closely with an engineer to understand how the original railings were mounted, then designed and engineered a new system that not only matched the original aesthetics but also corrected the underlying issues. The craftsmanship and attention to detail were outstanding—ARW figured out how to fabricate new railings identical to the originals and safely install them at height.
From problem-solving and engineering through to installation, ARW delivered professionalism, expertise, and quality at every step. We highly recommend ARW for any railing project, especially those requiring creative solutions and precise execution.

We had a 25 foot aluminum railing installed alongside our steep driveway. Sam and company were able to get it permitted, fabricated, painted and installed in time for our daughter's bridal shower. Not an easy task, and installation went well beyond normal work hours. We were very pleased with the outcome, and appreciated the dedication to detail on the project. Would highly recommend this company. Previously, they installed railings on our 2 wrap-around decks, and they've held up nicely over the years.

Our new railing looks great! We had the railings on a back deck and front steps replaced. A big improvement over the heavy 80s style we had before - a more modern look, more space, and easier to clean. I very much appreciated the attention to detail of the team - they noticed issues with scratches and initial design that I would not have: a scratch in one piece and the wrong angle on two pieces that went up our front stairs. They wanted to make sure everything was done right and fixed it within a few days. The team was incredibly nice and attentive to our requests as well - a great group to work with from the project designer to the guys doing the actual install. Definitely recommend!

American Railworks was one of several companies we interviewed to replace the custom wooden deck railing system installed 24 years ago when our home was built. They spent time explaining our options, what design would mirror what we had and what would enhance the home’s exterior appearance. Their teams spent the time carefully removing the old deck railing system, repairing and upgrading the supporting structures. Their design team carefully measured and fabricated the aluminum railing that they then brought to the site to do the final check. With the final measurements, and details of installation completed they then took the final railing system (in components) back to their Lynnwood facility to professionally powder coat it. End result? The installed railings & glass inserts give us daily joy when looking out the window at them to the view. While they may not have been the lowest cost option, the end result truly exceeded our expectations.

We had deck railings and new interior stair railings installed, and are SO happy with the results. Not only do they add a more modern, updated feel to our home, they are crafted with extreme care and are very sturdy and of the highest quality. Every member of the team we worked with was professional, friendly, easy to talk to and bounce ideas off of, and all were clearly very experienced and knowledgeable. We recently rebuilt our back deck and went through American Railworks to do the railing part of the project. They worked coordinated well with our main deck contractor and measured so that we got out railing installed in 5 weeks from the measurement appointment. They arrived on the installation day at 8 am and were done installing the railing by lunch, about noon. The railing looks great too!
