Site conditions: The site was measured prior to the repairs began in order to reduce the number of trips and in turn keep the cost of the project down. The grab/handrail needed to be continuous and this posed a challenge as some areas required compound miters. As the site is 6 hours from the fabrication facility return trips were to be avoided if possible. In this instance, different compound miters were provided to the installation crew in order to have options available to minimize the risk of a return trip.
